The decision to allocate additional funds to support the global economy hit by the pandemic will be made on 23 August.

Of the total, developing countries will receive $ 275 billion. These funds will be able to strengthen the stability of the world economy of countries and replenish financial reserves.

The IMF predicts that advanced economies will be able to emerge from the crisis with minimal losses thanks to vaccinations of the population and increased government loans aimed at supporting the affected sectors of the economy.

Taking into account the upcoming economic stimulus, the MIF predicts the global economy will grow by 6% this year and 4.9% the next.
